The SKH brand began its commercial activity in 1980 in the field of designing, producing, and exporting high-quality, exquisite handmade and handcrafted Persian carpets, especially authentic carpets from Tabriz. This brand has deep roots in family history, dating back to the 1950s, when the family first began exporting exquisite handmade and handcrafted Persian carpets to the USA and the Gulf countries.
SKH expanded its operations in the 1990s with the aim of introducing and exporting unique Iranian artworks to European countries. The brand collaborated with German companies and participated in prestigious international exhibitions, including those in Hamburg and Domotex Hannover. In the same years, SKH also showcased its works at both the Export and Artists’ Pavilions of the Tehran International Exhibition.
SKH has continued to represent Iranian art globally by showcasing its works at other major international exhibitions, such as Expo Tokyo 1995 and the Shanghai China Exhibition in 2005. Throughout its journey, SKH has strived to display the authenticity of Iranian art through high-quality handmade and handcrafted carpets with unique designs on a global stage.
A turning point in SKH’s artistic activities occurred in 2001 when the brand began designing and weaving exclusive, original, and artistically valuable collections. Since then, SKH has focused on creating single-edition carpets, with a knot count of 80 to 100 and sizes ranging from 5 to 24 meters, which emphasize not only the authenticity of the weaving but also the unique and one-of-a-kind designs. After finalizing these collections, they are introduced in an appropriate space for a select audience, ensuring that the works remain exclusively in the hands of their intended recipients.
Over the past decades, SKH has concentrated on creating special collections of high-end handcrafted carpets, emphasizing originality, exclusive design, and one-of-a-kind pieces.
